A warm welcome to the Purton Cricket Club Web site. Founded in 1820, Purton Cricket Club is the oldest in Wiltshire. The Club is an open and friendly one that is pleased to offer cricket to Adults and Junior members alike.
There are two Saturday sides playing in the West of England Premier League Wiltshire Division with two midweek league teams and a Sunday friendlies side who also play in the N Power National Village Cup. In addition, we have a thriving Youth section with sides playing in the Wiltshire Junior League at under 15, 13, 11 and 9.
Like any Club, we are always pleased to welcome volunteers to assist with the running of the Club. Whether it be in a Cricket or Administration capacity, all help is gratefully accepted. If you have some spare time and can make a fairly regular committment, please contact one of our Club Officials.
We are proud to be accredited by the ECB for Clubmark - the 492nd club in the UK to receive it. Please enjoy our web site.
